"Black America: Asking Ourselves The Tough Questions-- Book One 2010."
By Sonja Cassandra Perdue
"Asking Ourselves The Tough Questions" is a formalized, five part "Q & A" session that began in July 2010 and ends with the last publication in 2015.
This series of books will challenge Black America to collectively engage in a dialogue that will initiate solutions to our collective concerns and issues.
"Asking Ourselves The Tough Questions" is for personal conversations, family dinners, bus rides to work, class study,
mornings in the neighborhood coffee shops and those private moments.
Vision for the 2015 publication: "Black America: Our Questions - Answered.”
We can be reached at (773) 609-2226 to schedule an interview
For details view the project on Indiegogo.com, simply search for “Asking Ourselves The Tough Questions.”
Comment by Vida Catledge on March 26, 2012 at 2:43pm From "Life, Love and Faith: Poems and Memoirs of an Ordinary Woman" by Vida Carol Catledge. The Poem, "Angel." (In Dedication to Inner City Youth Everywhere)
Please don't clip the Angel's wings, Allow her to fly, and let her sing
The gifts of life and hope she brings, So don't ever clip an Angel's wings.
Someone clipped an Angel's wings; And he was destined to do great things
Still from on high a message he brings; "I'm still an Angel, and I've got new wings!
